2. Frank "The Big Hurt" Thomas 646
3. Jim Thome 642
4. Willie Stargell 640
5. Eduardo Perez# 617 (one of the most consistent players in the history, only trails Don Hurst for highest career VORP)
6. Babe Ruth 613 (injury bug hit him a few times)
7. Alex Rodriguez# 609
8. Hank Greenberg 548
9. Lou Gehrig 536
10. Frank Thomas (The white one) 514
11. Tony Batista 509

17. Bob Horner 482
18. Willie Greene 473

*30 year old Albert Pujols is sitting 25th with 436 home runs, I'm cheering for him to chase Big Mac.

Top Ten Single Season HR
In 1996, Sosa and McGwire had a home run race chasing Babe.
1. Sammy Sosa 64
2. Babe Ruth 63
3. Mark McGwire 61
4. Dan Villers 60 (2006 draft pick, fictional)
5. Barry Bonds/Lou Gehrig 59 (One of Bonds only seasons)
6. Mark McGwire (2x) 58
7. Jonny Gomes/Jose Canseco 57 (One of Cansecos only seasons)
8. Adrian Beltre 56
9. Ken Phelps/Mark McGwire/David Ortiz 55
10. Mark McGwire 54

To say the least, Mark McGwire was quite a HR hitter, but didn't win one MVP (but Eduardo Perez has SEVEN).

If anyone would like to know how certain players did, just drop their name.

I'm not really curious as to individual players (wll except Tony Gwynn), but would love to see some more of your career leader boards, VOTP, Hits, some pitching categories, etc.

Wow was Rondell White good in your league!

NickBam54 06-03-2006 01:45 PM

Yeah. Rondell White, Eduardo Perez, Jason Bere, just to name a few Hall of Famers who no one would've guessed.

My favorite headline from my league thus far included Manager Bobby Valentine being canned by the NY Mets. I wish there was a way to check coach all-time W's.

Also, The Red Sox went from 1920 to 2006 without a World Series championship. Babe Ruth was drafted by the Sox and left the team in 1923, they weren't competitive for years.
