Another item that evidently was not fixed, again.
 

New version (and yes I am enjoying it). However, one item was still not fixed (since v.3). With all the e-mails you get in this game, and the game stops for injuries and almost anything else, why can't we get the thing to stop when you get a trade offer? Nothing as tedious as clicking day to day from January to April when NOTHING is going on, so you click to sim to the next activity date and you get to the start of the season and see ten trade offers from February that are expired. If the program can be set up to stop a sim period due to an injury to your team, why can't it be set to stop for a trade offer e-mail too?

i am getting stops for trade offers. too many, in fact.

have you checked under the manager home page? you can select/deselect options that would potentially interrupt auto-play like trades, injuries and messages. its in pg 110 of the manual. unless of course youve already tweaked the settings and the game is ignoring them...

i want it to stop for trade offers, but i dont want so many trade offers ;)

nothing i can do about that, other than tweak the trade settings, which ive done.

ah, gotcha. would be nice if there were parameters one could set for trade offers like ones we have for injuries (ie, auto-play not interrupted unless the injury is at or over the particular severity you select, so its not interrupting you for every minor scrape).

maybe something based on the ratings of a player being offered? eg, dont interrupt unless Stuff is over 75, or Power is over 80, etc.

It seems that 'stop auto-sim on trade offers' works during the regular season, but not during pre-season; I've missed many trade offers January-March too.

I simmed one week at a time and was stopped in February so I don't know.

I have been stopped for trade offers during Auto-Play, and also have missed them as well. It seems to have a life of its own, or maybe there is some setting being changed unawares.

To clarify this, I am getting in-season trade offers to stop. The one I originally posted was in the preseason (November-February) before ST started. That's when I selected sim to Opening Day (or maybe it was Start ST). When I got to the set day, I saw an e-mail that had come in during that stretch of time but did not stop the "simming" to let me evaluate the trade.

thats what i mean. it is stopping in the pre-season for me, BUT i am only simming a month at a time, rather than all the way to opening day or to ST.
