News screen - no scrolling and unintended deletes

In other SI games (I've wasted billions of hours on Worldwide Soccer Manager) you were able to scroll up or arrow up to read news items. Why the need to point and click to read each message in OOTP? Seems one of the general complaints on the board is too much pointing and clicking involved. I think the news items screen is a good example of where things can be streamlined and made a tad more user friendly.

Additionally, if you delete a single message, it automatically deletes all unread messages instead of simply the one you were trying to delete.

The interface stuff is fair and valid, this is a different engine to that used on FM so it's raw in comparison (but we are making continual improvements)

As for the otehr bug, can anyone else verify that is a problem?

I read this awhile back but the reporter said it deleted two items, the one you wanted and the one above or below it, which was a problem in v6 or 6.5 at one time in the player tracker. Because of this I was very careful when deleting the first couple of times in v2006 but had no problems, deleted one line at a time like it should.

Could it be an issue with the mouse that only occurs with certain brands and drivers?
