Wild pitch PbP.....
Did a search and didn't find anything....
During pitch-by-pitch sometimes a sequence is played twice with the second go round always resulting in wild pitch. When I select to pitch the PbP begins as usual and plays through to a result, but then it immediately begins at the top again "and the stretch..." with the result being a wild pitch. Also, while setting my rotation or depth/lineup charts the sort selections do not stick. If I select to see only the starters, once I drag one into a spot I then get the entire team back and I have to select the starters again. This happens with just selecting batters as well.... I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!:woohoo: |
This issue has been brought up and noted at least twice, and reported I'm sure, far more often.
They're looking into it, and HOPEFULLY it will be addressed in Wednesday's patch. I just played a game where ONE pitcher (thankfully the opponant's) thre FOUR WPs in one game, including two to back-to-back batters. |
I'm on it...

Wild Pitches - Very Bad
When playing in PBP mode I would have to say that I am very dissapointed in the way it works. E.g. when it's ball 2, strike 2 I choose "Pitch" to go for a stike 3. Guess what happens or sorry you probably don't have to guess, it's ends up as a wild pitch.
Comparing this to Baseball Mogul man I would have to say it's generations away. The developers need to fine tune PBP mode. At times I would choose to pitch a wild pitch or in other words pitch out side and it ends up as a strike. It has a mind of it's own and takes control and does not do what you want it to do. Please let me know when they have fixed this part of the game, that's if they ever do. Also where do we download patch 1 from ?. thanks Baseball fan from Australia. |
The patch should be available where the game was originally purchased. I am more than sure Marc will post the link(s) when the patch is ready.
And yes, as you can see, we have Mr. Duffy's assurance that this is being looked into, and we appreciate that. |
