AI teams not signing Free agents......
 

The AI teams are not signing any free agents until the first game of the season.

Makes it way to easy for human teams to sign all the best free agents before game 1.

jb, was this with the patched version?

I've been simming a small league (10 teams) with the patched version to study the financial system, and have seen some average to super star caliber free agents not signed at all when the season begins.

I did lower the merchandising revenue in my league to levels that would keep cash piling up for teams from year to year, so that could be the problem. However, there were teams I thought that had enough cash to sign some of these free agents.

You can also sign all star caliber fa to minor lg contracts,at this point you just cant play this game with the financials on.

JB, haven't heard back from anyone on this issue lately. Is this still something that you see happening?

Is it historical or fictional league? Patched version?

I need some more information, if possible, thanks.

unfortunately, he cant give you any more info. he doesnt own the game and his demo period ran out.

This is on line w/ what I've been experiencing. My game was also patched.

Hmm, but what you described there isn't the same thing, really. jb was saying that the AI wouldn't sign ANYONE until Opening Day, and therefore the FAs were "easy pickings" for human managers. Is that what is happening to you, too?
