Too many generated Phenoms?
As I was creating the new league yesterday I ran a draft. I was able to tell from this draft that there are WAY too many SUPERHUMAN phenoms in the age range of 19 - 25. These guys are maxed out in potential and have current ratings between 90 - 100 (using a 0 - 100 scale). That is crazy. I think we should only see one player like this. Albert Pujols only comes along once in a few decades (and may not come around at all without HgH).
Is this being looked at? |
that does sound a bit high. but not all are going to be superstars in the majors though... at least, I hope that's not the case.

Thats the problem ... the numbers in teh 90 - 100 range aren't the potential ratings they are the current ratings. And my head scout is pretty damn good so it should be pretty accurate (assuming the scouting ratings are accurate).

I think you will need more info then that. How many actually turn out? How many ratings go down? How many get injured? This doesnt mean they will all be superstars.

I think some of this may be addressed in the next patch. I know there are specific issues logged about top 1-5 picks being too much of a sure thing, but this is the only comment I've heard about this specific issue.
A few questions: 1. Is this just for the inaugural draft, or for subsequent amateur drafts as well? 2. Is anyone else seeing this issue? Thanks, Steve |
We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this. If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!) Steve |
