No-Hitter doesn't even make the news?
Hitting for the cycle makes it. Shutouts make it. 3-HR days make it.
But this line didn't make the paper (tight deadlines?) ;-) IP H R ER BB K HR PI PS ERA A. Rodocanachi W (7-3) 9.0 0 0 0 2 13 0 103 72 2.37 |
Well, do you have any filters on? Because there are no hitter stories in english.xml.
I have a very, very vague memory from a online beta test where a SP threw a no-no, so I think they work. Rodocanachi, BTW, must have been working very efficiently, looking at the strikes to total pitch ratio. |
That's not THAT efficient. Greg Maddux once threw a complete game shutout against the Cubs on 72 pitches.

No filters on...

I guess I have to be patient
After continuing to another day, I go back and now I see the no-hitter in the news - my bad!
|
Chalk this one up to a late delivery by the paperboy.
I'd speak to your newspaper's customer service rep. |
No-hitters regularly show up on the news "radar". Maybe this was a fluke. However, if you have the saved game, do you think you could zip and post the .dat files so Markus can take a look at them?

Must have been a late local finish on the west coast.

It sounds like this issue has been resolved, so I'm going to move this over to Closed. If you still have questions, feel free to ask!
