Is This Normal? CPU Usage...

Running on a Dell w/1.2GHz, 512MB Ram, P3...post-patch...

I've been monitoring my CPU Usgae during the game, and a typical sequence goes like this...

Waiting for me to hit a key: 1%
I select a play: 80%.
Play-by-play begins to scroll: 100%
Play-by-play finishes: 75-80% then drops to 1%
Hit a key to continue: 55-80%
Waiting for me to hit a key: 1%

Having the game take up 100% of all CPU power (the only programs running at OOTP and Task manager). My computer is disconnected from my network, and my anti-virus is taking a nap.

Is this the type of "memory leak" issue being worked on for patch #2? I think this game will run much more smoothly without this issue.

I've noticed this as well. I have a AMD64 3800+ and my PC slows down with this game. So when did they discover the memory leak? I kinda thought there may have been a mem-leak with all of the CTD, ect (although I have yet to CTD).

There was talk about this problem being isolated and they were testing a fix for the next patch, but I'm not sure if this was the exact problem that others had been having.

This item is a major focus of patch 2, and you may have seen jarmenia vent in public over it.

Without disclosing too much, I think that jarmenia may be pleased with the newest results. I will have to see his test results to be sure.
