Saved games files
 

I opened the saved games file and found my leagues and then I opened that file and in that file there are files such as coaches, injuries and messages and they are .dat files that say video cd movies. When I install Nero on my system the Icon changes to a Nero DVD Icon. What are these files and why are they names video CD Files

Looks like those file extensions are associated with Nero. Go to your CP and change the associations of those file extensions to another program if it really bothers you. They're most likely .dat files and its not really an issue unless you're going to be editing them at some point, which most don't do.

Targy, Cooleyvol is correct. Leaving them as-is should have no effect on OOTP. Nothing has changed regarding those files, it's just that your computer considers them to be "Nero files."
