Online league report creation problem
 

Using the patched game.

I've yet to play out a game or advance past January 1st, but I wanted to create a report of the league so people can look at players online and such. Each time I've tried to create the reports to do so, the game has crashed on me. No idea why.

I've searched the forums and tried different methods, but I am unable to generate player page reports prior to the initial draft of a new league. Not really a huge issue, but I hate having 404 errors on my site due to it. :)

I'm trying to upload reports in my league. We are in round two of the inagural draft. The game creates the reports just fine. I upload them externally just fine, but there are broken links in the report. A number of player links aren't working. I get a 404 error. And, when I try to view the rookie draft pool in the game I get a really messed up screen without a scroll bar.

Further info on the problem:
The missing players are not even in the league file news/html/players
but they are in the game.

I am having this same issue. I cant get the game to generate the players reports. How can we draft without them?

1) Why does it make sense for the owners to not be able to see the player's contract during the initial draft? This is so bad I can't even talk about it.

2) Trying to upload the initial pages for my league and it seems that the draft pool appears on the site but when you click on them there is no information. In fact, when I look in the players folder there are no files. Has anyone dealt with this? I would like to get rolling with the league but can't.

I've tried severl different methods to try and create player pages and have not been successful, Orin.

Why aren't all the ammy draft player pages created?
 

I have looked far and wide, in every file imaginable, and all I get are a select few of the amature draft player pages. It makes drafting in online leagues almost impossible.

BTW, I have patched the game.

I believe that is because the pages are not created until needed.....

I would SURE love to be able to edit the draft pools prior to a draft!!......

Does it give an error message? Or does it just "hang"?

Not sure about the OP, but mine hangs if I do full report at Jan 1. If you do online report, it only appears to hang, but will finish.

I've tried over and over again, with different setups and no "hang" and no crashes. But then again, I'm using a very new beta patch. I'm willing to bet that the issue is resolved in the next patch. If not, hold on to your saved game and ask Marc Duffy for FTP access to upload your game's .dat files for Markus to look over.

That's BS. I had GM's wanting to see what the current ratings of the players they were looking at drafting and they were quite frustrated when they had to ask me to check the game and see what they were.

You can make the game create pages for all of the players using the create report section. It is located at: Game Setup>Create/upload Reports

I cannot find this...is it new in Patch 1.0.2?
