Help plz... can anyone confirm?

I downloaded ArodGarlon's career average database today and would like to confirm something... I hope someone can help :-).

I'm looking at changing the debut years for some players and found out that OOTP needs batting/pitching stats to match the year to debut. I also know that players do not retire after their last stat year... so my question is:

If I change a debut year and than go to the stats sheet and change the first stat year... can I just delete the rest of the stat year for the player? So I would only have 1 stat year for every player. I think it should be fine as it is the career avg. database so all the years are the same anyhow...

can someone confirm this for me?

Thanks

OOTP looks at the rest of a player's career when assigning talent ratings. If you only have one season's worth of stats for each player u may run into some problems.

All players in our DB debut in their first full season of play. Why do you want to change player debut years?

I have a few guys like Icirho that I would like to have debut a couple of years before they actually do. He is one example... there are a few others, can't think of them off the top of my head however  :-).

Also... thinks for the season data answer... HUGE help on that one. I will redo my league with your base csv sheets.
