Rookie Draft problem, historical leage

Hi,
I'm having a problem with importing the latest rookies in my historical replay league. I started in 1991, playing as the Astros in commish mode. No problems until the 1995 draft. The draft imported players from the previous year(s) draft. I noticed this by seeing Jeter again. I already don't like Jeter as it is. I couldn't handle him twice. My gave version is 1.0.3.12270.

On a somewhat related note, is there a way to seriously curtail the amount of randomly generated fictional players when starting a fictional league? I always get stars and league leaders the likes of "Ichiro Nakamura" in the 60's, and similar results in other decades.

Any help, as always, is appreciated.

Thanks
-JR

Sorry for the delayed response. What historical database are you using for this league? Thanks.

No worries. I am using the Lahman database, current rosters up through 2005.

For the second question, you could lower the Player Creation Modifiers down really low, so all the fictional players created are not very good.

As for the first question, I have never seen this before, I've seen duplicates of players in the same draft, but not duplicates a year later. Have you been able to reproduce this at all?

Snowdog,

It has been a while since your last response. I am going to close this thread. However, if you still require assistance, please pm me with the thread link and I will reopen. Thanks.
