Historical Stadium .dat's

Will the 2007 version have every proper stadium park factor throughout history, or do we have to dig up the old .dat files someone once made and paste them into the dat folder every year?

IE: If I'm doing a historical league in 1910, will it load up with the 1910 real stadiums? If a team changes parks in real life during 1918, will it change in the game?

im pretty sure you cant use .dat files like in 6.5 and before. In 2006 you couldnt, could you? I could never get it to work

Here is the story...

2007 will automatically update the team name (i.e. Braves Boston to Milwaukee to Atlanta) properly over time and will also update the ballpark name and basic ballpark factors (e.g. .9800 across the board --- but no dimensions) as the stadium changes. Unfortunately it will overwrite them each season and not create a new stadium.

The .dat files from previous versions (before 2006) will not work.

The good news is I will be releasing an updated stadium chart with estimated factors by the end of next week with over 600 ballparks (as of right now stadiums) with dimension and factors that can be manually inserted into the game.

It's not perfect but it is an option...

I'm looking forward to your updated stadium chart. Thanks for doing it.

I recently downloaded the Anderson utilities logo watchdog program (which is AWESOME, btw) and was wondering if it would be possible for somebody to create a similar program which would update stadium info automatically in-game.

Now, I was never very good at writing code in my computer science classes, but it seems like it should certainly be possible...

If so, that would be really cool.
