If your running a PC ...try to e-mail eLicense at:
support@elicense.com Give them your name and e-mail address, they will send your Order ID. |
PM Marc Duffy first to have him check for you.
|
Im running a MAC. I pm's Marc.
Thanks guys... |
The serial number comes in the email sent to you after you license the game through esellerate. It's 35 digits long, I hope that helps.
|
How and when do I liscense the game?
I downloaded it and can run it with demo warning pop ups. I didnt recieve a confirmation email from OOTP or esellerate. Ive tried all 3 links to download game and they have all done same thing. |
Sorry, I licensed the game when i downloaded it. But no confirmation e-mail.
PS I pre-ordered the game, so it wasnt a recent purchase. |

Darcy, you should have received a 35-digit code from e-Sellerate shortly after you purchased the game, even if it was a while back.
It sounds like you never received this code. If this is the case, there's nothing you can do other than play in demo mode, until you hear back from Marc, as he has to contact e-Sellerate to straighten things out. Thanks, Steve |
Are the first seven digits of this code: ootpb07 ? I've been inputting what claims to be the serial number and it isn't being accepted. It's also overflowing the field. Should I be including the hyphens?
|
I would try it without the hyphens first.. then see what happens
|
Er, let me try to round up a Mac person...:@@:

Yes, the code is 35 digits, begins with ootp2007 and you must copy it all (including the spaces)
|
Marc, it actually begins with 'ootpb07'.

Double Post.

Curtis,
Did we miss something in the instructions somewhere, such as in the manual, that would have cleared this up? |
Oh, probably not. I just went back and looked at the form from which I had copied (correctly) the registration number, and you people did it exactly the way I would've.
The real problem came from release-day information overload. Two of the people who posted in the General Discussions forum said that the number was 25 digits in length, and one said that the 25 included the dashes. This resulted in me inputting all sorts of different combinations of portions of the code in order to get it down to 25. The frustrating part was that every time I entered the wrong code, instead of putting me back where I could try again, I was given the choice of playing the game as a demo or quitting out and reloading. Reloading is a very long process in 2007, and it got old fast. Did the thread originator ever get their problem resolved? |
