What did I do wrong?
I ran a historical fictional league from 1901-1954. Everything was working great.
Then in 1955, I decided to add a minor league. Basically, I just added it and didn't touch any of the default settings or change any of the modifiers for the new league. From that point forward, I noticed a severe decline in my HR totals for my major league. The top home run hitter in each league would have 2-3 home runs a season. Did I miss adjusting a setting or something? Any advice? |
Take a look in the league settings and strategy tab and tell me what number is show under HR modifier.
We're trying to find a problem in beta testing with the way historical/fictional leagues advance from season to season. |

Hrmm, I deleted the league and started a regular fictional one before I read this post. Sorry about that. The league was running great, though. I added a AAA league in 1910 and everything still seemed fine. When I added the AA league around 1955, that's when the home run totals dropped like a lead balloon. I wasn't sure if it was something I did wrong, or not. I didn't mess with any of the modifiers/league totals or anything like that. Hopefully, if it's an actual game issue... you fellas will figure it out. I'm sorry I couldn't help you out in better detail. I need to read my threads faster I guess. |
There is a problem that develops in the 1930s where the HR modifiers get out of whack. We noticed this just before release and did not see any problem in previous builds. It has been reported for a later patch.
In the future, if you see this again, take a look at the HR modifier number in your league setup>strategy tab and report it to the technical support forum so it keeps getting attention for a patch. |
