Where is "shop around" option?
 

I'm am in my second fictional season. This feature was a great help in my first season and now it no longer shows up under "Trading" action. Some players show no Trading option at all under the Action button. Did I turn something off accidentally?

No..I just checked. Very odd. Anyone else see this? I don't even have trading at all as an option for most players.

This is the sort of thing that happens when right clicking on a player that is on a club you do not control. What sort of set up are you running and when in the calender are you currently at?

I also have had the shop player feature disappear before the trading deadline but it returned when a new season started.

Moved to Tech Support, so we can get more information from posters on this issue. Waiting for more complete information.

Remember that you can only shop three players per day and then the option goes away. You have to move forward one day.

And you're correct that it disappears after the trade deadline expires. Those aren't bugs; those are proper features.

Started a new season and it didn't come back.

Did you accidentally turn on Online mode?

You can't trade in the game in Online leagues, so those features are off. (I have already put in a TT to request that these come back and online GM's be allowed to play with trades, just not complete them.)

Don't think I turned on Online mode but I will go back and check as best I can. I just right clicked on each player on my roster and there is no trade option what so ever. Also no Trade form the Action button on the player page.

No Online mode is not turned on. I have another fictional league that I checked and all is well there.

Yes...I'm listed as a "solid GM". Something is ****ed up. Pardon my French. Screw this I'll just start another game an hope I can get through a season. A lot of work here.........

There is an "Enable Trading" option in the Rules seciton in Game Setup. Maybe it got turned off? Also, I assume you are not past the trading deadline.

The waiver rule would also have to be disabled.

To me, this only happens when you are clicking on a player on another club. Did you get sacked and didn't know it? Otherwise I can't figure this out.

No, I'm sorry to say that trading is enabled. It's just t legacy of OOTP, things happen in the game that noone can explain........................................... .................................................. ..................................................

LOL, it's the legacy of computer programming in general...

Feel free to upload the .dat files of your league and we can see if it reproduces for other people.

How do I upload? I assume you are talking about the saved game file for the fictional league in question?
