TBCB3 wishlist
Since the anouncement of TBCB3 for sometime in 2007 was made. I thought we could put together some ideas that are in peoples minds.
For me,I'd like to have the ability to play as a manager, trainer or fighter in the rp/career mode. A create a boxer option,were you could create multiple boxers at once,ideal for fictional universes. The ability to change all fighters automaticly to a certain career stage is a big one. Online leagues would really be cool. A ultimate boxer database,in one place ,for easy access. I'm sure all you guys have some great ideas,lets here em! |
20 round fights
Random events such as injuries, run ins with the law and contract issues Historically accurate purses Have the game import fighters from the Master Database into your universe based on their actual debut years. |
Hopefully the ability to import drom the database or have the game generate a cutom league.
Im not asking for as many options as OOTP, but some options would be nice like era, divisions, universe size etc Then the game generates the fighters and off you go |
I think it's been mentioned elsewhere, but having the FaceGen feature that's in OOTP7 would be boss.

One massive boxer database would be great.
I'd really like to see some more work done on the commentary. Eliminate the 2 animated boxers. Run a video clip when there's a knockdown. |

When running a fight card I want to be able to run as many bouts as I want, so If I want a card to have 12 4 rounds bouts I can do that.

Thanks, all great ideas! Being a judge is definitely on our list. But not in the manager mode of course! :)
Facegen would have to be licensed for the game, and that would be too expensive for a little game like Title Bout. I love Facegen too, but I see no chance that we can do that. We could of course automatically select a picture for each fictional fighter from folders where we (or you) could install face packs with lets say 10,000 pictures. These could have been generated using Facegen. That would not be a license problem. More than 15 rounds per fight... now THAT would be REALLY hard. I doubt that we can do that easily, because the whole fight engine uses fixed sized arrays with 15 elements. We would have to convert them to dynamical arrays which is a LOT of work. Similar to the request for 20+ round fights, I would like to see "fights to the finish", where the winner must triumph via knockout. Would be fun to match-up legendary sluggers like Sullivan, Jeffries and Marciano in this type of format.

Yes being a judge is on the list. Now in the RPG if I am the promoter do I have the ability to hire judges and refs that will be favorable to my fighter? Let's call it the UK rule.
