Caught Stealing stat for catchers
I play out my games on a PC.
I have noticed that when my catcher throws out a steal attempt, it is logged in the box scores and batting stats as CS. I believe that it also correctly records the fielding stat of RTO. |
Not sure what the problem is here. Can you explain it in more detail?

The problem shows up in the box score and the catcher's stats. I posted the wrong files, sorry.
In these box scores and game log, you can see that the catcher (A Rivera) throws out E. Aguirre in the first inning. the log does not report A Rivera ever attempting a steal but the box score and his batting stats show a CS. I have to do more checking to see if his fielding stats are correctly updated. |

Here is a screenshot of the first inning. The imprtant thing about Aguirre is that Rivera threw him out.
Did you see in the log that Rivera was never caught stealing? |

Fidel, I'm confused, too. As near as I can tell, noble has mentally transposed what catchers do with what runners do. To me, everything looks right. |

Thank you, Zeyes. (Open mouth — insert foot.)

Thank you! that is what I was trying to get across. The log is right rivera NEVER attempted to steal, but the box score gives him a CS that is also recorded in his batting stats. |
I wonder if this is whats causing the high CS% numbers?

This has been claimed fixed for the third patch. If after installing the third patch (once it is released), you find this to still be a problem, please post as such in Tech Support along with the above TT number. Thanks.
