No-hitters and a perfect game
I was under the impression that a perfect game was where the starting pitcher ended the game without allowing a single runner on base (no hits, no BB, no reaching on error, etc)
In OOTP2007 it seems to be tightened by only being allowed if it is 9 innings.
In the image below, Martinez faced 39 batters, struck out 19, ground out 8 and the remaining 12 flied out. Looking at the game log, no batters reached base.
He is however only classed as having a no-hitter on the accomplishments page. It's a slightly contrived league having power pitchers and naff batters and there have been five no-hitters in the first week, all of which are perfect according to the rules, but only the ones that lasted 9.0IP are classed in the game as Perfect.
