User Data folder not found....
 

I just downloaded OOTP 2007. The game was initially working until I added the patch and can not get it to work correctly now. I get an error message when I try starting the game...

"The user data folder could not be found. Please reinstall OOTP Baseball 2007"

I have reinstalled twice and have not had any luck.

help please

Did you change your user data path at any point, nomedina?

Bumping this to say that I'm running into the same problem.

I (stupidly) changed the data folder to the normal SI data folder but now it can't find the data path. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

I tried to follow the steps Battist posted under the FAQ but nothing helps.

EDIT: Just fixed it! Go to Battist's post in the FAQ folder and when you click the config folder, just delete the line under the path_user_data line.

As the original poster has not replied in some time, this thread will be closed for housekeeping reasons. However, DawnBTVS did provide a solution.
