Spring Training
Hey guys
I'm kindda new to the game. I don't know if it's a bug or if I just don't know how, but I can't put more than 26 players in my line up during spring training. When I go to the transaction screen, it says I have 26/40 players in my team line up, but I can't promote anymore guys. Any idea why ? How can I do this ? Thanks |
Which version of the game are you currently using? What are your league settings for your secondary and expanded roster sizes?
|
OOTP 2007 with patch 2.0.2
My league allows a secondary roster of 40 players. I can see in the transaction screen it says i'm only at 26 players out of a possible 40, but I can't promote any players to fill the roster... |
How many players are on your 40-man roster?
|
Please patch to the most recent version of the game and see if you continue to experience this problem.
Furthermore, what size is your expanded roster set to? |

Where do I set the expanded roster ? Thanks |
Maybe I'm doing somthing wrong...
When I use the Check for update option in the menu, it says I don't need update. My extended lineup is 40 players. I can't promote players so that I have more than 26 players in my squad. Do I actually have to promote players to major league level so I can Use the extended squad ? |
The most recent version is 2.0.3.68, found at:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=156152 Yes, you have to promote players to your active roster in order to have them participate in Spring Training. What are you doing to promote your players? Are you using the menu and selecting to promote them or are you dragging and dropping on the Transaction screen? Please try both methods. |

Problem solved :) I was looking at the menu and the option to promote disappeared after player #26 was in the lineup. It still works when you drag and drop even without the patch.. |
Great. Glad it's okay for you now. :)
