OOTP 2009 running on a usb drive

Is it possible to install and run OOtp 2009 on a usb drive? If yes, can you explain. It would be super to have a "portable version" of this program.

Thanks you.

You can't install the program on a USB drive, but you can save and keep all of the data file (saved games, images, quickstarts) on a drive. You just need to tell OOTP where the data files are stored in the preferences screen.

I've personally zipped up a .lg folder, saved that to my jump drive then pasted it to the appropriate place on my other computer and repeated the process many times. Works well if you only want to move around a few leagues.

ZIPping that league first is the key, though. The number of little files that run around make it take all day otherwise..
