BZ 1589: Simulating Screen Hitting Streak

The hitting streak is taking the longest of the year and not the current streak. Like all the other stats, it should be "current".

Here's another good reason why...

On a slight aside, did no-one from the AL carry a hitting streak over, because the AL streak figures look about right for 7-8 games in?

Good question. I'll check next season.

Let's see if I can explain what I think is going on.

2000: Guy1 gets a hit streak of 30 games (ends on August 1)
2000: Guy2 gets a hit streak of 15 games (doesn't lose it before season end)
2000 Leaderboard has Guy1 at 30, Guy2 at 15 at the end of the year

2001: HitStreak leaderboard has Guy2 listed at top with 15, guy1 isn't there
2001: HitStreak leaderboard continues updating until Guy2 loses hit streak

So, it looks like it only carries over if the guy currently has the hit streak. I have no problem with it carrying over, but it really should only be listing "current hit streaks" after the guy has lost the streak. I know that is how it worked in the prevoius versions (or at least OOTP5). We don't have averages over 500 or ERAs under 1 unless they're active.

I fully agree. Previously logged as BZ 1589.

What about an * next to the active ones? Did he turn that down too?

Should be added for the next patch. If you don't see it, please post as such in Tech Support.
