Problem with manager profile when importing OOTP 2007 game

I imported an OOTP 2007 game that was in the year 2033.

It associates all teams with my manager profile:
- It counts team stats from all teams in the league towards my manager profile
- I receive messages relating to players on every team (contract negotiations, etc.).
- The AI appears not to be handling rosters (DFA timers expire)
- However, I get a message that I can't control that team when I attempt to make changes, so I am not actually the manager of those other teams. (Also, this results in a "soft lock", as I can no longer advance days when the AI teams need to make a roster move, such as getting someone out of DFA).

I tried going in and out of commissioner mode, as well asapplying for a job elsewhere (got it, but that didn't clear the association). No luck.

Anyone else seen this and have a work-around?

No, I haven't seen this one before. What version did you try converting the league into? Could you try again with 9.1.6 to see what happens?

Yes, this was with 9.1.6, and it happened both times I attempted the import.

Actually, I just checked the league in OOTP 2007, and it is a problem there, too. So it looks like it is not a bug, just have corrupted data or something.

Yeah, it sounds like the manager.dat file may have been damaged at some point.

Is there anymore more that we can help you with?
