Here's the issue:

In our online league, the people aren't getting their emails, the emails are all jumbled up. How do I fix this?!

I run a fast-sim league, where we sim very quicky. During the week, we sim lots of months at one time through the post-season. Since the start, people's emails have gotten jumbled to where they can't track their extensions, etc., because of the issues. As the commish, I don't see this problem, but I do in all of their emails when I login as them or they see it too.

I saw an email where you address this before and I'm going to try the solution you suggested about adding more days to the messages and giving them a copy of my messages.dat file. But honestly, I don't know if that'll work in a league like ours given how fast it is. I don't know how many days to add.

Do I need to modify the days to reflect the number of days in the sim each time? Something else? I'm just confused at how to handle this.

Thanks.

That's a start. However, if one of your GMs misses a sim, he'll end up with the same problem. You may want to increase it to the length of a few sims.

Would a workaround be to delete all of the messages after every sim and then just select "0" for all of the messages after each sim? Because I've tried doing the "go back" thing and it seems people still complain it doesn't work. But at least I have some where to start.

Thanks.

Well, it might keep them from getting jumbled emails and it might not. I've never seen it tried. It would definitely result in people missing emails, which couldn't be much better.

I just inputted 200 as the number of days yesterday and no one complained. So hopefully, I've found the solution.

Thanks again for responding.

Okay, if you need any further assistance, please post in Tech Support. I'll close out this thread for now.
