DATABASE::load_database - could not load faces file
I keep getting that message every time I try to load my league. I re-installed the league file, the images pack and OOTP9 itself.
Any ideas? |
How large is the faces.dat file found within the .lg saved game folder in question?

I just started getting this error as well. I wanted to get OOTP for my Dad for Xmas so I've created a Pennsylvania league for him. It's very simple - 12 teams with 2 levels of minors (36 teams total). And every time I test the league, I get this error at some point. I never got the error with my big international league (240 teams plus feeder leagues)...so the error is very much league dependent but not based on how complex the league is or how many players are in the league.
I've seen the workaround - delete the faces.dat file (which in my case is empty anyway) which is simple enough for me. But my Dad is not very computer savvy and that will be more of an ordeal for him. |
As there hasn't been any update from the OP on this since last year, this thread will be closed for housekeeping. If it is still an issue, let us know and we'll re-open this thread.
