Fighter Records? Help....
 

When I install the game and upload the current database, none of the fighters have records. They are all 0-0. Do I have to update these myself? Thanks.

If you have had no fights, your boxers will have no records.

Ok, when I'm editing fighters, how do I give them title belts? Thanks for the help.

That is entirely upto you. You can do what ever you would like in your little uni

To assign a title to a fighter;
1. Main screen
2. Goto the organizations tab
3. Choose the org you want to assign a title to
4. Goto rankings
5. Select fighter - on the botom right of the screen hit 'assign title to fighter'

What if he hasn't got any fighters ranked? If all his fighters are 0-0 then it seems rather unlikely that any have achieved enough prestige to be ranked by even the WBC.....

I understand what Bewiseman is asking and I have always wanted this to be an option for this game. In OOTP Baseball you download, I believe lahman files, or at least it used to be, and you had the life time stats of the current players, at least up to the last season.

I have always wanted to be able to down load stats from BOXREC straight into our little game. That would be awesome! Imagine starting a universe and having the option of what year you want to begin and you type in the year and download all the real life stats. Where you could begin re-creating history from that point. I imagine if that existed we would almost be able to have pre planned historically accurate schedules too.

Oh, I had better stop. I am getting really excited over something that can never happen. It's great to dream though. By the way, I love the game the way it is, but dreaming is okay.


So until then, we have to add the stats ourselves if we have the energy. I don't :p

It would be neat if some of you computer geeks, and I mean that with a great amount of respect, could figure out how to do that. I would definately pay for that add - on Mod!

Well, the fighters all have a boxrec id in thier biography that could link them. There may be a way to write a Firefox greasemonkey script to extract the desired information. Then all that would be needed is the know-how concerning how to import that information into your database which may or may not be doable.

It's all well beyond my capabilities but I wouldn't call it an impossibility.
