why do i as general manager win manager of the year and the other league manager win manager of the year. why dosent my team manager win manager of the year as the other league. also why when the team im general manager of have have the general manager name (me) listed as manager of the championship team. other championship has the team manager name listed, not general manager. i hope this all make sense and by the way why dosent human general manager earn a slalary?

Those are good questions. I've wondered the same thing.

I am the GM. I'm not the team manager, though I would like to be, yet I am listed under the manager list for things such as career records and such.

Many of us have been pleading for this change since its conception; in this case, a vast majority favors it change, and we're hoping the developer will eventually concede. :unsure:

I hope it stays the same. The manager on my team does nothing. Honestly you are the GM and the manager in the game, why should you not be rewarded with the award? While its not accurate, who cares? The award is for fun anyway and sometimes fun should take precedent over realism.

A compromise would be perhaps:

-If the human manager is in control (in team control settings on your Manager Options tab) - then let the MoY be named as the "character" of the human player (because, in this case, he IS the manager if he's controlling the on the field activities)

-If the team is set to CPU management of the on-field activities, set the MoY to be the name of the AI character.

Same rules for name of manager in the Champions list.

For example, if my team wins another title it would show:

-MoY/Champions List and I'm human controlling:
Tsuyoshi Shinju (my character's name)

-MoY/Champions List and I'm letting the CPU control lineups
Oda Nobunaga (my manager's name)

He's seems like perfect man for a manager job tell me, how is he working out for you?

Also good suggestion seems like that would work for everybody.

Well, he won a title 4 years ago and we've been back to the playoffs every year since (though it was really close this past season - tons of injuries and fortunately, no one else in the division had a good year). Won a tough 5-game Division Series (named Quarterfinal Round in my league) and lost in the LCS (Semi-final round) in 6. :D

Doesn't too much like prospects, though. One SS just bombed once he hit the majors. Got so bad we had to trade him. Was a former 1st round pick too and had high hopes that I had found my lead off man. Thanks a lot, Nobunaga.

Hopefully, nothing else bad will happen to (or because of) him :D

Heh if I was crazy enough to have a 50 team league - I could have the Nobunaga's Ambition league with all the daimyo managing teams. Though, that would be a pretty chaotic league :P

If this is in fact true, why not list the human as the manager then and do away with the computer manager's name?
