Historical League with Minors starting 2012

Hi Guys,

I just downloaded the game a week ago after discovering it online. I've been playing The Show until now.

I'm really interested in a historical league. From what I've gathered, the historical database contains only major leaguers. However, starting a season off from 2012 appears to contain all levels of legitimate minor leaguers.

My question is if I can start a historical league (Let's say as of 2000) that will import all those minor leaguers once I get to 2012? Whether it be by draft or otherwise, I'd like to have the ability to use those minor league names in years going forward.

The 2012 game that you can play is a special quickstart put together by a bunch of volunteers who gathered all the data in order to include complete team organizations. The historical DB that comes with the game can't do that.

There is at least one option for a mod historical DB that includes many more players. You can research that in the mod forum, or someone may post here with more info on that.
