Tupelo Tigers Jerseys and Caps Needed

3 Attachment(s)
I need a few more jerseys and caps for my State Line League expansion teams... would appreciate any help you can give.

I produced the Logo using justafan's fine logo creator... I got the Tiger image from cephasjames' wonderful collection.

Team Name: TUPELO TIGERS

Colors: BLACK AND ORANGE... with WHITE TRIM, if you need it.

Home Jersey: WHITE jersey with TIGERS in ORANGE in Script lettering with swoosh... trimmed in BLACK... use the Tiger image on White sleeves... unless you think it might look good on black or orange sleeves... the contrast might not be good with black or orange sleeves.

Home Cap: ORANGE Cap with Black Script T trimmed in White... cap bill can be Black or Orange if you like.

Away Jersey: MEDIUM GRAY jersey with TUPELO in BLACK Block lettering... trimmed in ORANGE... CURVE TUPELO (see how BARONS is curved on the sample jersey below)... use the Tiger image on the Gray sleeves... unless you think it will work on black or orange sleeves.... the contrast might not be good with black or orange sleeves.

Away Cap: BLACK Cap with ORANGE Block T trimmed in White.

If possible use wide Double Trim on Neck Line and Button Line.. use Black and Orange colors on the Neck and the Button LInes... you decide the primary color for the trim - ORANGE or BLACK - and use the other one as the smaller trim on each side of the primary color.

(See Trim Line example below - reds1 did the fine jersey for his Braeland Dynasty report on the Dynasty Forum).

Not necessary, but if your creative juices are really flowing and you want to do your own Alternate version of the Tupelo Tigers, please feel free to do so... it will probably be better than mine.

I decided it's time to try and create my own jerseys... so I downloaded justafan's great jersey and cap creators today and produced this one.

I think it came out pretty good for a beginner.

They turned out great, Eugene.

May I recommend trying a different font? That one doesn't look too professional (no offense). https://fontsbyconrad.wordpress.com/ is a site where I have found basically all of the fonts I use, and they are fee for the taking.

Sure, I appreciate constructive criticism... I am very limited to whatever fonts came with my computer... and no scripts... only block lettering.

Feel free to change the font lettering if you would like... I'm just a rookie leaguer in creating logos, jerseys and caps... it would be great to have an alternate jersey with a good font.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Feel free to critique anything I do... I will appreciate it.:)

Also....this may be debatable, but in my experience, any time you use black or another very dark color in the actually jersey (not the always lettering/logos) it is necessary to also use the "light" shading option, on around 15-25%. Otherwise, the dark section of the uniform (in this case the undershirt/collar) will come out flat.

EDIT: I'm no pro at this, so please understand it's a suggestion and nothing else. :p

Thanks for the shading tip... I will give it a try.

I went to the site for the free fonts, but don't have any idea of how to download them... I'm lost, if they don't have a box marked "download".
Can you download all of them as a group or do you have to do it individually?

I am not good with computers... if you would, please give me step-by-step instructions to download these fonts... include where they should go in the computer to import into justafan's creators.

One person told me in the jersey thread to place the fonts in the Windows fonts folder. I would need help doing that.

Appreciate any help you can give.

It depends, what version are you running? The most recent two I've used are Windows XP ad Windows 8 and they worked entirely different in this aspect.

I have Windows 7 (64-bit).

I can't help you out for sure then. My best guess would be:
1. Download the ZIP file using the link. Beware to shut down the Mediafire popup windows as fast as you can once you start the download.
2. Click "save"
3. Click "open folder"
4. Extract the ZIP file to a folder
5. Select all of the fonts in that folder. Right click.
6. Select Install.
7. Click Okay/Accept/whatever if prompted.
8. Now restart the jersey creator (no need to reboot your computer). They should be there.
9. Enjoy!

Your tip was right on the money... I used the shading and it certainly did improve the perception.

Thanks.

What is "Shading 1" and "Shading 2"?

What is "Shadows" and "Textures"?

That, I really can't explain. Just play around with the different options and see what looks best to you. Personally, I use:
Shading: Shading 1
Shadows: Either None or Baggy
Textures: Always none, unless I want a cheaper-looking jersey, in which case mesh and buttons off. But that is very rare.
