Custom playoffs muddle
 

I'm trying to set up a playoffs schedule, and everything seems to conform to the manual instructions, except when I get to Use Custom Playoffs checkbox. There is no checkbox, and the subject is Customizable Playoffs, not Custom Playoffs, in the menu, and therefore there is no Customize Playoffs button that is supposed to open a new screen "where you can define your playoff structure." Am I the problem, or is the manual misleading? Thanks for any advice!

What time of year is it in your game? You can only change the playoffs during the offseason or the preseason.

Yes, you've pinpointed the problem. I messed up the playoffs after a full-season replay and was trying to right the ship but see now that with it not being pre- or off season that I'm out of luck. I wonder if creating a new game with just the 8 playoff teams in it and setting up a playoff structure would work. I'm going to give it a try.
