Multiple Crashes Every Season during "Creating free agents"
 

As the title states, its like clockwork. Every season I get at least 2 crashes. One is after the draft, usually within one or two days after the draft. And I get another after at the end of the season after players are released as free agents. Sometimes I get multiple crashes on consecutive days but the common thread is that when it crashes, the status bar always states "creating free agents" so I am guessing there is a problem with db commands or something.

I dont get any crashes any other time and I didnt get crashes in older versions of the game.

Any ideas?

So it crashes at those times, but then you load up the game again and it runs through fine?

if you get crashes on roughly the same day, please send us a league file from a day or 2 before those times, and we can investigate what is going on.

That is correct. When I reload, it generally bypasses the crash. Sometimes, it will crash again, but its almost never on the same day (rather a day or 2 later but this is also rare). I have become accustomed to savings every day after the aforementioned events (draft and end of season) so I can get by without any data loss but there is no consistency to the day.

Im not sure how to get you a league file. Which file is that? (I am aware of the file locations i just dont know what a "league" file is, there is no league.dat or anything like that). Or are you referring to the league folder under txt and html?

It's all the .dat files. Generally speaking, if you select all the .dat files in your league folder (saved_games/name.lg), right click and hit Send to... Compressed (zip) Folder (if you're on Windows) then follow the instructions below to upload, that's the best way.

dont really think this will help u but it might be worth a try

in my main league save it was crashing every time it got 100% loading on team affiliate logos. all my other saves worked just fine so i went into the save folder and and copied over the dak files one by one onto a clean game and found out that it was the faces dak file. i just replaced it with the face file from the fresh league and it seems to work fine. i havent advanced yet or anything but at least it loaded. i will report back if it stops working
