Lineups, trades, etc w/out my input
Hey all. I've been playing ootp for years and just bought 17. So far, I'm seriously frustrated at the inability for me to keep my lineup intact and it's ruining the fun for me. Hoping someone can help.
I have full control over all aspects of the team, nothing delegated. I set my lineups and play a few days. I come back and EVERY TIME, my lineups are different, players have been promoted, demoted, cut, traded, etc. And it's not simply players coming out when tired. They change my lineup order permanently and with no rhyme or reason and it sticks. I have to back and make a bunch of moves to get it back the way it was previously, I play a day or two and it's all broken again. I don't get it. I've simmed thousands of seasons on ootp over the years and never had this problem before. Please tell me there is some setting I'm missing or something as there's no reason to continue playing for me if this is just how the game is now. |
it is not. you might want to recheck if you do actually have control over everything. i have not encountered the problems you mentioned

If you are simming multiple days at a time, be sure to check and see if you have the Do Not Disturb button checked. If you do the AI has no choice, but to make changes without your input.
I had learned this one the hard way. Then again this is only a suggestion. |

As a follow up, I haven't found a way to stop e-mail interruption without clicking that button and the amount of trade requests is ridiculous. I unchecked "trades", but it still interrupts me. Any other options for that? |
In your manager settings/options there are message settings. You can uncheck the boxes and change the length of injury that will trigger an interruption.
