I'm sure this is a dumb question but I haven't been able to find an answer.

I am two years into an historical league and I want first year players to be assigned to their original teams. It appears I have it set that way but last year it went into a draft. Can I change this mid-league or do I need to start over. Hopefully not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You can only change it in preseason. Now i had thought that with historical minors on that there was a bug of some sort if you did not use a draft. sprtize or someone else would have to confirm or deny that.

From the league settings - Historical tab make sure that import historical rookies is checked.
From the Rules tab uncheck the draft.
Always back up your league before making major changes.

Thank you very much. My season is almost over and I'll try that in preseason. On question...is preseason during spring training, or prior to that?
