Question about the Rule 5 Draft
 

What happens if a team tries to send a Rule 5 player to the minors?

The help menu says the player will not be sent back to the original team.

Will there be an error message saying something to the effect "Player is a rule 5 player and must remain on the active roster."

Will the computer make player a free agent?

Will the computer allow the roster move sending the Rule 5 player to the minors?

This is the correct answer:

"Player is a rule 5 player and must remain on the active roster."

Also there will be and exclamation point (!) next to his name indicating he's a Rule 5 draft player, and can't be sent down. You can trade him though, but the team that gets him, the same rule applies. He must stay on their roster.
