Want to manage two teams at once
I just bought the game today and while it is a bit overwhelming, I enjoy it a lot.
I have two questions I was hoping someone could answer. All I'd like to do is play along with the actual 2018 MLB season on the game. However, instead of controlling & managing just one team, I'd prefer to manage several teams at once -- this includes managing several games featuring different teams on the same date. However, so far OOTP 19 is not letting me do that. For example, say on Opening Day, I want to manage the Pirates vs Tigers as well as the Brewers vs Padres. In order to start the Pirates vs Tigers game I first must simulate all the other games, INCLUDING the Brewers vs Padres game (I am forced to click on "simulate till this date" in order to get to the Tigers game). Thus, the Brewers vs Padres game is automatically simmed for me even though I had wanted to actually play that game. Is there any way to get around this and play more than one game on the same date in my custom season? My other question is how do I avoid the game making personnel decisions for me? For example, in my season Peter Moylan retired, even though he did not do so in real life. By clicking on the Commissioner Mode, I thought I had avoided this. Thank you! |
click your gm name at top in menu system -- look for human gms, or somethign similar near bottom -- sub menu will have set active human gm, add a human gm etc etc.
once you create a second human gm, you can "select as active" form tat same menu then apply to the job you want for that 2nd human GM... set any delegation you want of responsibilities per human gm... simply "select active gm" to switch between the two at any time. |
This is how you play two teams at once?
