someone explain how you can let up a homerun and have a 0.00 ERA?
that should be at least 1 earned run, correct? how could a homerun not have at least 1 earned run? game log shows grand slam hit off him even if not all the baseruners are his, he is aco****able for at least 1 i would think fyi, this is from ootp18. Edit: nevermind, i see how it's possible now... seems a bit retarded though. |

Just thinking about that and I just got to wondering what would be scored if the ball was hit to the wall for example and may/may not being going over but the fielder in trying to catch it tips it over for a home run. Would that be classed as an error or not?
|
Would have had to been at least 1 error. Could have been 2 outs, an error followed by 2 walks and then a grand slam. All the runs are unearned. As long as the same pitcher continues, there could be 6 more HRs that would all be unearned.

Foul fly ball dropped (Error) Next Pitch HR -- Run is unearned.

by the time there was a grandslam there should have been 3 outs.. so they were all unearned after that point. (some of the guys on base weren't his to begin with too)
i don't keep game logs, so i couldn't verify.. but i'm sure that's it. |
