Pick Your Own Roster
 

I'm looking to start a dynasty but hand select my entire team, including prospects, based on my 30-team Rotisserie Fantasy Baseball team. Is there any way for me to do this? If I do a draft there's no way everything will fall into place that nicely for me. Not even like I'm stacking my own team since it's a 30 team league, just want to see how they do compared to my fantasy team. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

with a draft, have them revealed 20 or so days early. Then you can go through the list before the draft happens, and hand pick the players you want.
on the player profile page, pick editor. On the left side of the screen, about half way down there's a section marked TEAM INFORMATION- SELECT NEW TEAM. Just below that is an area marked "NO League Selected" click on that and pick the league you want the player to be in. Once you do that, another box, just below it, appears and in that area you can select the exact team you want to place the player on.
you'll need to do that for each player, but that way you can hand-pick any player listed in the draft before the draft happens, and they will be removed from the draft so other teams can't grab them.

Sorry, I'm brand new to the game so I'm still not sure where to even start. I'm assuming I can use "New Standard Game" mode still. Would you mind giving me a step-by-step breakdown once I've created the dynasty and include which tabs, buttons, etc I should be pressing in order to hand pick my roster thru the inaugural draft feature. Sorry if this is time consuming, just want to make sure I do it right and once so I'll be out of questions! Thanks so much

sent you a pm with a bit more detailed instructions. if some of it is unclear, just ask for clarification in a specific step. in about an hour, i won't be around until morning, but i'll certainly get back to you and try to clarify an ambiguities then. And yes, it works in a new standard game. just created one to test and be certain. The functions are exactly the same, in the same place. So, it'll work for you.

best thing to do is to back up before you start editing, or as i do, make a worthless league that you'll delete later (you can have a multitude of games started in this program!!!), and click on things until you discover the right combination. then you can work on your real league. whatever works. let me know if you need more help and good luck.

could just assign them to your team. turn commissioner mode on and search for th eplayers, go into Editor from player profile, then you can assign to any team you want.

if you want other teams to be real mlb players and similar rosters, you don't want a draft. or maybe you do to mix it up?

oh, if you do want an inaugural you can edit draft order so you ahve the first X number of picks etc... (export draft order, open in spreadsheet, edit, save, import new draft order.) probably want to remve that many picks of yours later in draft too rd 2-x etc "find" and delete the row.. re-numbering is easy. hightlight one field up and drag lower right corner of that field.. will auto-add 1,2,3,4 etc or 10,11,12 etc.. from wherever you deleted a row to fix #.

oh, yea, i forgot you need to be in commish mode .... good point NoOne!!
