Dog Days Baseball has vacancies as we head towards the 2030 season:

• Twin Falls Captains - Middle of the pack team who finished just over .500 in '29 with good power, above average hitting, mediocre pitching. Lost talent to free agency. Finances are tight.

This is a very long-running fictional league.

• 24 teams in fictional cities
• 4 minor league levels
• scouting on, other personnel off
• one week sims on Tues-Thurs-Sat-Sun during the regular season, every day during the offseason
• ammy draft rounds 1-3 done on the message board

I am going into my 37th season in the DDBL. I am in 4 online leagues, including running one of them, and the DDB is my go to league (yea I like the one I run too:) ). Don, the commissioner, is awesome at what he does. He runs the DDBL as commissioner but does NOT run a team. Sims are run like clockwork very very rarely missing a sim.

Don has created a league that has some small outside of the game "quirks"....Organizational Goals & Home City advantageous traits...which have a small in-game impact on players only known to the Commish.

The other "quirk" with the league that I really like is that, unlike most leagues I see, we do not use the DH :)

We have just upgraded to OOTP19 and arbitration and free agency start with the next sim.

If you are looking for a well run league with a consistent sim schedule, a group of dedicated GMs and a very committed commissioner then the Dog Days Baseball League is for you.
