Secondary Playoffs
 

I have a fictional league right now that operates under the old school first place from each subleague makes the world series style. However, I'd like to add a couple standalone series where the two second place and the two third place teams both play each other for a consolation prize as well. As far as I'm aware there's no way to do this automatically at this time. If there were though it would be super awesome!

I haven't tried this on v19 yet, but it worked in v18: I like to revive the City Series' (or regional series') that were somewhat common in the late 19th and early 20th century (StL vs StL, Philly vs Philly, and especially Chic vs Chic were common). Can't "officially" have these scheduled in OOTP, but I was able to make it work by scheduling the games as Exhibitions, running on a similar schedule to the World Series. Team and individual stats accumulate just fine when you filter for Exhibition stats... The main thing is you have to manually keep track of the number of games won for each team (which I would do by referencing that in the game recap header that I would write), and then either remove or not schedule any games not needed after one team wins, say, four games.

I would think you could do this for your league, no problem. Just not automatically.
