Crash when browsing through action house
OOTP PT has been very stable all through the beta (not a single crash) but now I get crashes when browsing the Auction house and quickly
jumping from player to player (click on player name to open + details, again to close, click on another player to get + details, close, click on next, jump to another page, click on player, …). If I browse long enough and fast enough (example, click again while it is loading the + details and images/data for the player) I can get OOTP to eventually stall for a second while loading the player info and exit with no notification or error. I was able to reproduce the crash with both the Steam and regular OOTP version (up-to-date Win10, plenty of RAM/SSD storage, no real-time AV, up-to-date GTX drivers, …) |
Yeah, this just happened to me as well.
Chris is debugging as we speak, should be sorted out soon. |
I get the same type of crash in the auction section!

For clarification, latest update is .122 or the one coming next?
I can still reproduce the crash with the .122 update. Pick a player in the middle of auction house and open/close as fast as you can, go up to next player, and keep opening closing (loading the +details section), eventually as you go up to other players, the crash will eventually happen. Tested it with a second system and I can also re-produce it on that system. |
This just happened to me. Playing on most recent update. Not only did the game crash, but since I was looking for my 3rd player to "buy now" I lost the first 2 players I had already purchased and the PPs as well. The players I had already purchased show up in my transaction screen, but like I said, are gone from my team.
I'd like to know if I could get the players back, or at least the points. I would imagine whomever put the player up for auction would have collected the points already anyway, and they've gotten their fair share of the bargain. |
In most of my simulated crashes, the players are still there but moved from main roster or reserve roster to the in-actives list.
I hope you can still find them among the in-active cards otherwise the bug is a bit more serious than I initially thought. |
Yes, that's where they were. Thank you.
I didn't even know there was a way to deactivate cards, so thanks for teaching me that too!! |
