TSL in need of GMs
 

The Salami Lounge is in need of a couple of GMs.

We are currently in May of 2021 after having started with the 2018 season. We use OOTP 19 and sim daily (three in-game days per sim during the regular season, five in-game days per sim during the offseason).

Scouting on, coaches on, 20/80 scale. This league is built around realism and we have a few house rules to help maintain that. Our league includes a full NCAA and HS feeder system for our drafts and Arizona Fall League in which you select which members of your organization participate.

Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers are currently open and both in the middle of the AL Central race. We have a tremendous core of 28 active GMs and we are hoping to complete our search by adding two more.

Only experienced GMs should apply. Users whom have joined the OOTP forums recently will not be considered.

Avoid this league like the plague. Vindictive and controlling commissioner who will take every opportunity to demonstrate his power over this little universe. There are dozens of examples and numerous GMs who have left as a result of his antics. The previous league he was the commish of split off because he was manipulating the file due to some poor financial decisions he made with his own team. Steer clear.

He didn't manipulate the file because of those decisions - there was some funky injury proneness settings being seen on players he was trying to trade - but he outright ended the league because 'he wanted to run an OOTP19 league, and not an OOTP18 league' despite the fact the league could have just upgraded when 19 came out.

I am interested in the league. Have experience just looking for another league.

Twins have been filled. Reds are open, however.

One more opening for a league where the commissioner promotes corruption and manipulates the file for his own benefit.

I've been in TSL since the beginning and can say with confidence that the accusations thrown out by TanzKommandant are flat out wrong (he also wasn't with us initially so some of what he speaks to he wasn't even around for). He's still bitter about being removed from the league -- which is his prerogative -- but his experience is not representative of how this league is run. Sure, people have come and gone for varying reasons, but that happens in any league. TSL has remained mostly consistent, however. We have numerous GMs who have been around since the beginning and most will say it's a great league.

Everyone is highly active. Everyone is respectful and gets along. It's a solid group of guys. Everything is done fairly within the league (any league/rule changes are discussed and voted on by all members, for instance).

I've been in this league for about 6 months and it is by far the best league I've ever been a part of. It is easily the most realistic league you will ever find. The person who made this comment is butt hurt because he got booted for making completely unrealistic moves in order to tank.

As far as the commish making shady moves, I've never seen anything resembling it. He has been more than fair with everyone.

I just joined this league and my experience thus far has been excellent. Any rules in place are simply there to make sure no one plunges the league into chaos causing an exodus of owners.
