No PP for breaking losing streak of 5
 

Hi guys

I (username: Izz001) broke a losing a streak of 5 today, as per attachment, but didn't receive any PP for it. Am wondering if the off day plus that it stretched from the final day of yesterday's sim to today might have a bearing.

Checked through my transaction history, too, and couldn't see any PP for the broken streak.

Happened again...

Finished yesterday's sim on a losing streak of 5. Lost 2 more today before breaking streak. No PP. Really feel like it's related to the streak crossing over sim days.

Are you sure points are given for breaking a 5 game skid? I know I've gotten points for 8 and 9 game losing streaks, but I don't recall if 5 has ever been a thing. If it is, than I should've gotten some points for breaking a 5 gamer today as well.

You definitely should've gotten something for the 7 game skid that crossed over sim days.

Yep, 5 is definitely a thing. 100 (bronze) for breaking 5-9 game losing streak, 250 (silver) for breaking 10+ game losing streaks, and there's a gold one too, for breaking 15+ i think, but I'm not sure how much that is worth.

Sadly, this season I've had 6 losing streaks of 5+ games.

Gotcha, must be a bug with the losing streak payouts then.
I've had 2 or 3 five gamers this season as well.

This makes me wonder whether they did this by design? I just sifted through my transaction log and found six payouts for ending a losing streak, but I did not get one for the most recent string of five losses.

I went back and checked mine as well, and I had two separate 5 game losing streaks this season and didn't get a payout for either. You may be correct that they changed it by design.

Yep, maybe so. Just had another 5-game losing streak (every game lost by 2 runs of less - grrrr!) and once again no payout.

Just today I had a losing streak of 5 snapped and got the points for it.

I had a losing streak of 7 snapped today that got me points. I also had two additional losing streaks of 6 games, and neither gave me points. That makes it appear like they changed it, but if you got points for a 5 game losing streak today, then that's certainly odd.

We have made a change that losing streaks will only pay once per season, so you don't get credit for them multiple times. I didn't realize that was already updated on the server, or we would have mentioned it already (there's a new patch mentioning it where that will be listed there).

So if you have a 5 game losing streak and get credit for it, then have a longer losing streak worth more points, you won't get credit for that one? In other words, make sure to have your longest losing streak 1st, then? ;)

No, you can still get one of "each" losing streak, but if you have 4 different 5-9 game losing streaks, only the first will pay.
