editing player
If i edit a player...is the player edited just for the game?
OR will the player have the new editied settings everytime i start a new game? If the player doesn't get have the new settings everytime i start a new game...the only thing i can thinks is to save the game as a template?? |
edits are only for the game you are playing.

For instance say i want to start in 1960 and do 100 sims. I want to adjust 10 players. hmm koufax becomes a righty clemente lives and DURABLE never gets injured etc How do a start simming at 1960 but bring in my adjusted players easily each time? Great feature would be to have a report of all thet settings and adjustement you make in a game. |
Make all your edits and save the game as a quick start.

you may need change "historical year" (on Stats and AI settings page - set to post 2018 to avoid any historical import of settings) so as not to import over any settings changes? won't effect player edits.. althought the death thing might be related.
really depends on a few choices in settings too, possibly.... anyway, if you see anyhting odd, things to look into. might be forcing a ~historical career path and you want more of a fictional-hitorical setting. |

right? if i always want to start at 1960, my quickstart has to start at that time. and all the players in that aren't in the leauge or minors prior to that time i won't have access to until they enter the league right?? |
Well, yea, if you're constantly bringing players in...
