Is there a proper way to create a salary cap?
I plan on doing a fictional league. Real teams, just different league structure.
If I create a cap, will inflation eventually make it impossible for players to be signed? Might be a silly question, but I've never looked into it at all. What would be a good cap to set? |
There's a screen somewhere in the league settings that shows you the average team salary. I usually use that as a basis for setting the cap and set it to the league average.

What all goes into the salary cap? Guess what I'm asking: Does the salary cap only 'cap' player salaries? Or is it a cap on the player and personnel salaries. Or does it also encompass scouting and player development budgets?
