Crashes while opening
Have tried re-installing and re-downloading but neither have worked. When I try to open the game it says "OOTP has found that the Crashed_on_startup flag is set". After it crashes, it gives the standard big Apple problem report.

OK, unfortunately this does not really tell me why it crashes, sorry. We'll investigate.
|
I too am having the same issue and message. I am running a MacBook with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
|
It seems this may be because of outdated libraries on your systems, all reports are MacOS 10.11 or earlier, and the current version is 10.14.
We are investigating and hope to fix this with the update on Wednesday. Sorry for the inconvenience! |

Thanks Markus for the update. Hopefully that fixes our issue! Best Matt |

We could use a trace from one of your guys who are having this problem, it might help us narrow things down.
Do activate that, in /Users/<user name>/Library/Applications Support/ there should be OOTP 20 and a /data/config folder. Edit the file app.cfg and set the trace_mode line to 1. Like this: trace_mode 1 Or, alternately, open the console, cd/navigate to /Applications/OOTP Baseball 20.app/Content/MacOS/ and enter ./"OOTP Baseball 20" tracemode Start the game again, then when it crashes, you'll find a trace file in application support/OOTP20/data/debug If it's not there, check both the application support folder and the OOTP20 folder, it should be in one of those places;) |

We should have a new Mac build coming out to test a potential fix for folks having this issue before too long.

We're still working on this guys.
Looks like it's definitely related to some outdated features in the older Mac OS, but we're trying to find a workaround. I doubt we'll have anything for you before tomorrow at the earliest though. Sorry:( |
