AI releasing players with millions left on deals
 

AI continually releases players on good contracts after bringing up or signing players who are no better.

I understand that the AI makes the decisions that player B is better than player A so calls up/signs player B but there seems to be no consideration to how much money is owed.

For ezample the Cards released Cecil who's owed $14m over the next 2 years and brought up a reliever from AAA with the same overall rating. Now that AAA pitchers might actually be better but surely the fact that Cecil is owed so much there needs to be weighting to keeping that guy on the roster rather than take that big financial hit for hardly any gain.
