Won auction...but not awarded card???

I placed a bid this morning for a 1998 Trevor Hoffman card for 28,501 PP moments before the auction for that card ended. There had been 1 previous bid, for 28,500. When the auction ended, it said the card was sold for 28,501 PP and there were 2 total bids, which means clearly I must have won the bidding, yet I have still not been awarded the card...anyone know what's going on?

The bidding is done using an e-bay style bidding where you only pay the 2nd price. For example, if the min bid was set to 28500, if the first person to bid set a bid for 29000, then if nobody else bids, they win it for 28500 still. If you come along and bid 28501, then they still have a higher bid than you (29000 > 28501), so they win the card, and they pay your bid (28501).

In that case wouldn't the "Starting/Highest Bid" column have changed to 29,000, if somebody had previously bid 29,000 (or whatever amount) for it? I thought that column represented either the starting bid (if nobody has bid yet) or the highest bid up to that point (if there are one or more bids), so that if I bid a number higher than the number in that column right before the auction ends, I should be pretty much guaranteed to win the auction. I guess I'm mistaken?
