Modding the Box Score and Game Log HTMLs/Templates

Ok, so I have searched and searched and haven't found any thread discussing this specific topic (but did find some that were close, but never answered).

I really, really like the dynamic formatting of the MLB.com layout for their box scores and their game log ("Plays" page as they call it).

Dynamic features aside, there does not seem to be a way to change or edit the way OOTP builds the HTML pages for box scores and game logs, other than simply altering some text in the headers, etc.

Starting with the box score page:
  • I would like to be able to add in the pitcher decisions under the [%Scoreboard] element, as with traditional boxscores, preferably with their current season record (for example: W: Verlander (3-1) L: Sanchez (2-2) S: Giles (14)
In the title, I'd like to be able to insert the score after each team name (for example: "Blue Jays 6 at Red Sox 7" or alternatively, "Blue Jays 6, Red Sox 7") I believe this is the [%HEADERTITLE_UPPER] element, which there is no editable template for

With the game log, I'd like to be able to ideally provide a two-column format, as with MLB.com, with scoring plays in one column, and all plays in the other.

Dynamic would be great, for example being able to click on an inning and just get THAT inning's plays. But even if it were the whole game, the ability to edit the text output would be nice, to change the location codes into the corresponding defensive player names, with the current outs/runs.
So instead of: "1-0: Fly out, F7" you could have it read "1-0: Fly out to left fielder Randall Grichuk. 2 Outs."
Or, instead of "3-2: SOLO HOME RUN (Line drive, 78XD), Distance: 406 ft" it could be "3-2: SOLO HOME RUN to deep left field, 406 ft."

The game log doesn't seem to include pick-off attempts. And of course, the pitch type and speed would be nice as well.

The game_log_ .tpl files simple have calls to write the appropriate generated text into the correct HTML boxes. The english.xml file seems to not include any of the text written into the game logs.

Any help modding how these features are created would be great, or alternatively, if they could be addressed in an upcoming release, that would be great too!

Please move this thread to where ever is deemed most appropriate (there didn't seem to be a mod thread for this topic, and I'm on OOTP19 still anyway, although this could apply to any version really).

THANKS!
