Clickable Element Images Shifted
When I run OOTP20 on my W7 64 bit system (ThinkPad with Intel HD Graphics 520 video card), all of the clickable elements appear to be shifted upwards on the screen. I have to click 1/4" or more underneath the element to click on it, and elements close to the top of the screen get shifted up so much they are partially cut off and unreadable.
The only fix I've found so far is to run it in 256 color mode. This makes not only OOTP20 look horrible, but all my other programs running are affected. |
I have noticed that if you do not restart your computer for a few days you will see some graphics issues. I would recommend shutting the game down, looking for driver updates and restarting your computer as the game tends to use a lot of memory when open and running for long periods of time.

Thanks but these did not solve the problem. It occurs immediately after startup and the display driver is up to date.

just rhetorical questions:
do you have some custom resolution? maybe aspect ratio is off for screen. what is bit depth of desktop? make sure it matches. is it just where the click works, or is the graphic shifted up too? i.e. you click above where you should, or it's visibly shifted too. make sure things match up between game and desktop settings. if you are using fullscreen mode, try windowed. if they offer borderless window, that's even better. you can drag about half the top window bar offscreen and expand window frame more. you won't notice after a while, if that does fix it. if you are in windowed mode, try fullscreen. |
